Pedro Bay Village Council

About PBVC

The Pedro Bay Village Council (PBVC) is the federally recognized governing body of the Pedro Bay Tribe, representing a small community on the eastern shore of Lake Iliamna, Alaska. Our people are of both Athabascan and Sugpiaq heritage, and we work to preserve our cultural traditions while planning for a sustainable future. Pedro Bay is a place of strong community ties, where subsistence living, self-reliance, and respect for the land and water are central to daily life. The Council is dedicated to supporting our people, protecting our resources, and upholding the values that shape our community.
